The substructure is the basis of every wooden terrace. It not only fixes the decking boards, but also ensures adequate ventilation of the wood. It stands on firm, level ground with a slight slope away from the building. The construction timber should not lie directly on the ground, but instead be laid on paving slabs as a support surface. Rubber granulate pads compensate for unevenness.
